WELCOME MESSAGE.

The Florida Army National Guard (FLARNG) Foreign Language Program (FLP) welcomes you to it's first FLARNG Command Language Program Managers' (CLPM) workshop on 6-9 July 2020 in Orlando, FL. 

The intent is to provide a collaborative environment where unit CLPMs, Readiness NCOs, and FLP professionals can synchronize language policies, procedures, initiatives, impacts, and requirements concerning the language program.

The workshop will discuss topics like the FLARNG FLP, role of the CLPM, 300TH MI BDE Language Program, the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC), and the National Guard Bureau (NGB) Total Army Language Program (TALP); as well as, the presentation of the first FLARNG Language Professional of the Year (LPoY) award.

The workshop will have briefers from FLARNG G2 FLP Office, NGB TALP, DLIFLC, GA Army National Guard Language Training Center (LTC), 300TH MI BDE FLP Office and Military Language Instructors (MLI).

NOTE: This is not a CLPM Certification Course, it is a workshop.

LODGING INFORMATION.

1. Lodging has been secured at a Per Diem rate of $127.00 per night

2. Daily Resort Fee of $23.95 has been waived (includes: Daily newspaper, Core Fitness Gym, Business Center, pools, and 2 bottles of water daily)

4. Self-Parking special rate of $10 per day (regular price $21)

5. Room rate is extended three (3) days before and after the event check-in and check-out dates (6-10 July 2020)

TRANSPORTATION.

FLARNG will not provide transportation for this event. FLARNG personnel may claim mileage if traveling outside of 50 miles radius from workshop location.

REGISTRATION.

All attendees need to register individually, this will allow the FLP Office to keep record of all individuals attending by name.
